The Project
Bangladesh 2024 is a community-driven historical repository built to ensure the events of the July Revolution are accurately preserved and publicly accessible. We built secure submission portals for crowdsourced data ingestion, searchable registries mapping martyrs and injured individuals to specific dates, locations, and professions, and a timeline-based CMS cataloguing news events, raw footage, and street graffiti. Full Bengali localisation and performance optimisation for low-bandwidth mobile networks in Bangladesh were core requirements from day one.
01 — Architecture
Designed a relational data model linking individuals, incidents, dates, and locations to support accurate historical cross-referencing across the entire archive.
02 — Build
Developed secure crowdsourced submission portals, a searchable martyr registry, a timeline-based multimedia CMS, and full Bengali localisation optimised for mobile networks across Bangladesh.
